This photoshoot took place in California 3 days after my grandmother in Normandy, France passed away. I hadn’t slept the previous night and not much before it either…Since I was talking with my poor mother in Europe and also signed up for a workshop with a casting director for the series of Days Of Our Lives.
The nurse who was taking care of my grandmother was very kind to place the hospital phone on her chest so I could say “au revoir” as my grandmother was already in a coma.
This photoshoot is an homage on how always well put together she was and on how much she loved tastefully applied make up and cosmetics especially the brand Lancôme ! People take photos for multiple reasons.
Rest in peace Mémé.
