Ready for a hilarious ride?!

All characters are funny! Here’s a short synopsis:

Ellen, the wife of a successful basketball player, has written a book about friends who are spouses of celebrities and what it is like to be married to somebody famous. She has invited them to her house on the beach in Malibu to let them read advance copies and to break the news to them gently that they are depicted in the book, warts and all. All nearly have apoplexy when they read the book because it really does tell all.

When the news arrives that the book is to be made into a movie, they change their tune and get excited about which star will play them.

Meet my character Florrie

Florrie is in her thirties, she is authentic, French and lives in NYC. She is married to movie star Brad Cutler, who is notoriously unfaithful until she and their kids (2 boys of 6 and 4 years old) started to travel with him everywhere. She lives to keep her family together. She became a fake introvert and somehow the lack of attention from her husband made her very remote and childlike. He’s an actor his ego is strong and his need for attention stronger. She knows she is clumsy not always elegant, and thinks that’s why she can’t get a sign from her husband that he cares. She loves that stupid jerk. Her secret dream is to be a movie star!
I love the dynamic of relationships in this play!
