“Je suis Nez” de Marina Forney en faveur de la fondation Théodora

Je suis Nez c’est le projet de Marina Forney, photographe suisse de la région de Montreux-Riviera. Elle est également la petite fille du fondateur du Musée Suisse de la Photographie de la Ville de Vevey; Claude-Henry Forney.

Marina c’est une femme pleine d’énergie avec du caractère! Elle est téméraire et va de l’avant! Je l’ai rencontrée à travers les réseaux sociaux alors qu’elle partageait son travail en ligne. Un jour alors que je préparais le tournage d’une capsule intitulée Pure Inspiration (une production CaroLine Style) je cherchais des gens qui ont des connections particulières avec les endroits que je mettais en vedette, car une région c’est aussi et surtout ses gens ! J’ai eu la chance incroyable d’avoir un grand-père très impliqué dans mon enfance (mes grand-parents avaient la papeterie Amiguet-Martin) et je me suis un peu reconnue dans l’histoire de Marina.

Marina m’a parlé de son projet de livre www.jesuisnez.ch après avoir vu la dite vidéo dans laquelle je fais une interprétation ludique de Charlie Chaplin ! De passage en Suisse 6 mois plus tard (après un tournage en Macédoine pour moi), nous nous sommes retrouvées au Montreux-Palace autour d’un chocolat chaud et quelques mignardises.

Ce qui m’a tout de suite plu bien entendu dans son projet, c’est que les bénéfices vont en faveur d’une belle cause ! Mais également cette idée de rappeler à chacun que nous avons tous un clown en nous à même d’égayer la vie des autres et surtout des enfants. Alors, “Je suis Nez” c’est 100 personnalités de la région de mon enfance qui se sont prêtées au jeu devant l’objectif de Marina en faveur de la fondation Théodora! Et franchement de voir cette légèreté et cette implication me réjouis. Je suis heureuse d’y avoir participé. La fondation Théodora offre différents programmes pour les enfants hospitalisés, jetez-y un oeil ici.

Je Suis Nez is the project of Marina Forney, a Swiss photographer from the region of Montreux-Riviera. She is also the granddaughter of the founder of the Swiss Museum of Photography in Vevey; Claude-Henry Forney.

Marina is an energetic woman who has a lot of character! She is tireless and always moving forward! I first met her through social networks as I came across her work. In preparation for the filming of a video called Pure Inspiration (a production of CaroLine Style) I was looking for people who have particular connections with the places highlighted in the video. A region is also and above all its people! We bonded over our closeness to our grandfathers. I was incredibly lucky to have a grandfather very involved in my childhood (my grandparents had the Amiguet-Martin stationery) and I could relate to Marina’s fondness for her grandfather as well.

Marina told me about her book project www.jesuisnez.ch after seeing the video in which I make a playful interpretation of Charlie Chaplin! When we visited Switzerland 6 months later (after a shoot in Macedonia for me), we found ourselves at the Café of the Montreux- Palace to enjoy a hot chocolate and some sweets.

What immediately pleased me in her project is that the benefits go to a good cause! The  idea is to remind everyone that we all have a clown in us to brighten the lives of others, especially children. So, “Je Suis Nez”  is 100 personalities of the region of my childhood who lent themselves to be photographed by Marina to support the Théodora foundation! It made me really happy to be part of such a project.  The Theodora Foundation offers different programs for hospitalized children which are described here.
