VOTE

🇺🇸Voting, such a responsibility and an important duty. I love the USA so much and I feel fortunate to have been given so many opportunities since I decided to  move here. Not only it has made my dreams come true work wise but it has also brought me love and a smile and my heart is grateful for it. The past 4 years have been hard to unfold to me as I’ve seen identities in people reveal themselves that were very cruel and it felt to me like my home was breaking, because it is. The deep thought I have is that even if politics doesn’t bring the perfect answer there’s a line and it comes to who you are as a human when it comes to voting. Does your vote protect the children? Your neighbor? Your family? The minorities? I voted blue because I believe deep in me that it is right to protect and build and to understand that the past does not always contain the answers for the future and that we need to listen and adjust based on what’s happening and most importantly listen to the earth that has clearly been calling us or reminding us that we should care. We are fortunate to be in an educated 1st world country not at the stone age. Leave your ego behind, do what your heart believes and I’m sure it’s love that it seeks or believes in and progress, not destruction. Even if it’s not the answer for some of you blue is the better answer.

🇫🇷Dépêche USA ! Voter, une sacrée responsabilité et un devoir important. J’aime les USA et je me sens chanceuse d’avoir décidé de m’installer ici. Non seulement je réalise mes rêves professionnellement, mais j’ai également trouvé l’amour et le sourire. Malgré, ces 4 dernières années qui ont été difficiles car j’ai vu des identités cruelles se révéler et j’ai le sentiment que tout se brise, parce que c’est en grande partie le cas. Ce que je pense profondément, c’est que même si la politique n’apporte pas de réponse parfaite, il y a une ligne de coeur et il s’agit de savoir qui vous êtes en tant qu’être humain. Votre vote protège-t-il les enfants ? Votre voisin ? Votre famille ? Les gens démunis ? Les minorités ? J’ai voté bleu car je crois au fond de moi qu’il est juste de protéger et de construire et de comprendre que le passé ne contient pas toujours les réponses pour l’avenir, et que nous devons nous ajuster. Laissez votre ego derrière vous, même si ce n’est pas la réponse pour certains d’entre vous, voter bleu est la meilleure réponse.
