🇬🇧 On July 14th (aka Bastille Day), I got the kind of news every actor dreams of , General Hospital wanted to book me for a role! For anyone who knows this business, you understand how special this is. Soap opera credits don’t come easy, and this one means the world to me.
I had auditioned in the past for the show, and every time, I walked away hopeful, learning, and determined to come back stronger. To finally get that “yes” makes this moment all the more meaningful.
For some, this might look like a small step, but for me, it feels like a giant leap forward, the kind that adds a little weight to a résumé and even more fuel to my passion. They are no small roles only small actors.
From the moment I pulled up to Prospect Studios and checked in at the gate, I felt like I was stepping into history. So many incredible actors have passed through General Hospital, and to be even a tiny part of that legacy is an honor I’ll never take lightly. The cast, crew, and everyone behind the scenes couldn’t have been more welcoming. The energy on set was electric, and the professionalism reminded me exactly why I love this craft.
Getting to prep in costume, hair, and makeup, and then watching live taping from my dressing room before filming my own scene, it was surreal, thrilling, and honestly a little pinch-me moment. I may have even fallen in love with the show… let’s just say it has more drama than my family gatherings (and that’s saying something!).
Most of all, I want to thank the incredible cast and crew I had the privilege of meeting that day, along with everyone who made this possible: Of course, the writers and the producers, Jeffrey, Ali (my angel for the day who showed me around), Tom who checked me in and the producers, my amazing agent Courtney Peldon at Aqua Talent, the brilliant director Allison Reames Smith, and above all, the legendary Casting Director Mark Teschner and Associate Casting Director Lisa Booth. Thank you for trusting me, for giving me the chance to grow through those auditions, and ultimately for allowing me to bring my little “Frenchie” onto Stage 4 at Prospect Studios.
Grateful. Inspired. I’m absolutely flying!

🇫🇷 J’ai décroché un petit rôle dans General Hospital !
🇬🇧 Le 14 juillet dernier, j’ai reçu la nouvelle dont rêvent tous les acteurs, General Hospital voulait m’engager pour un rôle ! Pour tous ceux qui connaissent ce milieu, vous savez à quel point c’est spécial. Obtenir un crédit dans un soap opera n’est pas facile, et celui-ci compte énormément pour moi.
Ce n’est pas une victoire tombée du ciel. J’ai passé plusieurs auditions pour cette série, et à chaque fois, je repartais avec de l’espoir, des leçons, et la détermination de revenir plus forte. Obtenir enfin ce “booked it” rend ce moment encore plus précieux.
Pour certains, cela pourrait sembler un petit pas, mais pour moi, c’est vraiment un plus pour mon CV et ça donne encore plus de carburant à ma passion. Il n’y a pas de petits rôles seulement de petits acteurs.
Dès que je suis arrivée à Prospect Studios à Los Angeles et que j’ai passé le portail de sécurité, j’ai eu l’impression de marcher dans l’histoire. Tant d’acteurs incroyables sont passés par General Hospital, et faire partie, même brièvement, de cet héritage est un honneur que je ne prends pas à la légère. Les acteurs, l’équipe technique, tout le monde m’a accueilli chaleureusement. L’énergie sur le plateau était électrisante, et le professionnalisme m’a rappelé pourquoi j’aime tant ce métier.
Entre la préparation en costume, coiffure et maquillage, puis le fait de regarder un tournage en direct depuis ma loge avant de tourner ma propre scène, c’était surréaliste, exaltant, et franchement un de ces moments où l’on se pince pour y croire. Je crois même être tombée accro à la série… disons qu’il y a encore plus de drame dans celle-ci que dans mes réunions de famille (et ce n’est pas peu dire !).
Surtout, je tiens à remercier les comédiens et l’équipe technique que j’ai eu le privilège de rencontrer ce jour-là, ainsi que toutes les personnes qui ont rendu cela possible : Les écrivains de la série, les producteurs, mon incroyable agente Courtney Peldon chez Aqua Talent, la brillante réalisatrice Allison Reames Smith, et surtout le légendaire directeur de casting Mark Teschner et la directrice de casting associée Lisa Booth. Merci de m’avoir fait confiance, de m’avoir donné l’occasion de grandir à travers ces auditions, et finalement de m’avoir permis d’amener ma petite “Frenchie” sur le plateau 4 des Prospect Studios.
Reconnaissante. Inspirée. Bon okay… Je plane littéralement !
