Hello dear readers,
As I write these lines, I’m 30,000 feet above ground, flying toward Costa Rica with my husband—thanks to a generous reward from his company, Autodesk. This trip has been on our bucket list for years. Lately, our travels have mostly taken us to Europe to visit family, and extended holidays are quite the rarity over here. So this time, we’re embracing the pura vida spirit—fully and joyfully.
Still Available… Even at Cruising Altitude
Yes, I’m technically on vacation—but I always keep my phone on for any last-minute casting opportunities (Daniels, Spielberg, Zemeckis, Coralie Fargeat, Justine Triet, the teams behind Andor, The Last of Us, The Pitt, Hacks… you know where to find me!).
I’ve even packed my self-tape kit—because, well, you never know.

Bilingual and Bold: A Zoom Story
A light moment from a recent table read on Zoom: a client was surprised by my French-accented English. I smiled and simply said, “Yes, that’s how I speak!” I’m Franco-American—and very proud of it.

Highlights from the San Diego French Film Festival
I recently had the joy of attending the San Diego French Film Festival, hosted by the Alliance Française. One of the standout films for me was Neuilly-Poissy—a powerful, moving story set inside a prison.
The cast was stellar: Gérard Jugnot, Gérard Darmon, Clotilde Coureau… and the director, Grégory Boutboul (picture on the right), brought real depth and humanity to the project. (A special nod to the name Grégory—it holds deep personal meaning for me 💙.)
Max Boublil delivered a performance of rare sincerity. Truly moving and fun!
48 and Feeling It (In the Best Way)
I also recently celebrated my 48th birthday! Between emotional highs and lows, I’ve been focusing on grounding and balance. Thank you, acupuncture. Thank you, wise friends. Thank you, ocean walks and my trusty Nurse Jamie lymphatic roller.
Little by little, I feel my rhythm returning—especially the one that beats in the chest.
Creative Currents: What’s Next
Recently I shot an electro-pop music video called Bon Bon in Santa Barbara. It has a colorful, energetic vibe that reminds me of Michael Jackson’s Black or White intro.
I also took a dreamy ride on Amtrak (I really do love trains ❤️), and continued my actor training with Meisner and Chekhov techniques.
And I’m writing again—short screenplays for now, but the creative current is flowing, and it feels good.
Talking Points & Meaningful Conversations
My beloved Talking Points Cards—those little resilience prompts—are still part of my go-to toolkit at dinner parties. They spark deep, funny, sometimes unexpected conversations. And honestly, why not?

Pensées en altitude : Costa Rica, cinéma et élans créatifs
Bonjour à toutes et à tous,
Je vous écris à 10 000 mètres d’altitude, en route vers le Costa Rica, où je pars avec mon mari, grâce à une généreuse prime de son entreprise, Autodesk. Cette destination figurait depuis longtemps sur notre liste de rêves. Ces dernières années, nos voyages se sont concentrés sur l’Europe pour retrouver la famille, et les longues vacances sont plutôt rares ici. Cette fois, cap sur la pura vida — pleinement, et avec gratitude.
Joignable même en plein vol
Oui, je suis techniquement en vacances… mais je garde toujours mon téléphone allumé pour tout casting de dernière minute (Daniels, Spielberg, Zemeckis, Coralie Fargeat, Justine Triet, les équipes d’Andor, The Last of Us, The Pitt, Hacks… je suis dispo !).
Et bien sûr, mon petit kit de self-tape est dans la valise !

Une histoire de Zoom et d’accent
Petit moment amusant lors d’une lecture de scénario sur Zoom : un client a été surpris par mon accent. Je lui ai répondu tout naturellement : “Yes, that’s how I speak!”

Coup de cœur au Festival du Film Français de San Diego
J’ai eu le plaisir de participer au Festival du Film Français de San Diego, organisé par l’Alliance Française. Un vrai coup de cœur pour Neuilly-Poissy, un film poignant se déroulant en milieu carcéral.
Casting remarquable : Gérard Jugnot, Gérard Darmon, Clotilde Coureau… et un réalisateur inspiré, Grégory Boutboul (un prénom qui me touche tout particulièrement 💙).
Max Boublil y livre une performance d’une grande sincérité. Un film fort et humain. Voir même nécessaire.
48 ans, et de plus en plus alignée
J’ai aussi fêté récemment mes 48 ans ! Entre quelques secousses émotionnelles et un vrai besoin de rééquilibrage, j’ai pris soin de moi. Merci l’acupuncture, les amies fidèles, les balades au bord de l’océan, et le rouleau lymphatique de chez Nurse Jamie.
Peu à peu, je sens mon rythme intérieur revenir… en particulier celui du cœur.
Côté pro : projets en cours et tournages
Côté professionnel, plusieurs projets enthousiasmants sont en préparation — certains encore confidentiels.
Je peux toutefois mentionner le tournage d’un clip électro-pop, Bon Bon, à Santa Barbara. L’esthétique du clip rappelle l’introduction du clip de Black or White de Michael Jackson.
J’ai aussi voyagé en train (Amtrak ❤️) et poursuivi mes formations en Meisner et méthode Tchekhov. Et je retrouve le plaisir d’écrire de petits scénarios, une passion qui ne demande qu’à s’épanouir.
Conversations profondes et cartes de résilience
Toujours fidèles au poste : mes Talking Points Cards, ces cartes de résilience que je sors parfois lors de dîners ou de soirées. Elles ouvrent la porte à de belles conversations, profondes, inattendues. Pourquoi s’en priver ?
