Back in the States! It is wonderful to get back to my home sweet home and have my pets waiting for me. Unfortunately I also found a lot of to do’s that I had postponed before my departure as well. I went back public speaking at high schools for the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. The teenagers seemed to enjoy my French accent which had gotten stronger as I had just returned and was still dealing with the jet lag. They laughed and told me to please keep it – I adore them!
We went to the farewell party of our general consul of Switzerland in Los Angeles Bruno Ryff at the Swiss Residence. I am going to miss him and his very talented partner photographer Andrea Wilmsen. What a great diplomat! The Swiss Creative department of the Swiss Consulate has been so good at bringing together the Swiss community abroad. Lots of work has been generated because of Christophe Vauthey and his team so we could share our Hollywood adventures with our country and keep making progress and make our country proud.

I booked an wonderful role for a play called Boeing Boeing by Marc Camoletti, directed by Kristen Fogle and George Bailey Maranto. I am very excited as it will be fun and it will strengthen my resume as an actor. I find theater very nourishing and authentic.
I was thrilled to go to the Premiere of Sign of the Dragon directed by Scott Leslie, a spec for a feature film that I shot earlier this year. I play the Director of an orphanage where the kids have magical powers. Feel free to watch the 17 minute concept trailer. With some luck and hard work we’ll be able to shoot the feature length some day.

I missed a national commercial audition for Jaguar because I was already booked on a 2 day shoot, it’s bitter sweet but a nice problem to have. I feel very fortunate to do what I do and to have a great team to help me achieve my goals and dreams. We also attended the Premiere of Mademoiselle Emmanuelle the web series in which I play the part of Noemie the French girlfriend of Mademoiselle Emmanuelle played by the talented and hilarious Monia Ayachi who created it. I am grateful as I got this part because of a workshop I took with casting director Mark Teschner, who referred me for this role. It was fun and I met a lot of very nice people. I’ll share the episode with you when it is released.Monia Ayachi, Mark Teschner and I.

I am excited as 4th of July is coming up and I love this country so much. For this reason, I’d like to share with you the link to a great cause called Operation Calendar http://www.operationcalendar.org/order.html for which I volunteered as a model in the past. This cause is run by my friend Manuela Mezzadri who has a very big heart and is tireless in support of the troops. Proceeds of the sales of the calendar go to injured marines and their families.
God bless the United States of America!Rocking my 4th of July sunglasses!
